Panty Raid invited women from West Michigan to BAND together (pun intended) to get crafty, create custom sexy accessories, and get in some pole practice. And, as always, the squad came through.

What do you get when you bring together an army of brave, bold, and beautiful Betties? You get #SquadBettie. And then what do you get when you gather the squad and add some feathers, a hot glue gun, and a local designer taking custom orders for the PERFECT. FITTING. PANTY? You get this amazingness:
Local designer Ashley, of Iconoclasp, brought the Panty Raid a very special opportunity. With her personal picks of fabrics, prints, and styles available for the choosing, guests were able to build the ideal panty. With measurements taken for each individual, the perfect panty will be constructed, one-of-a-kind and tailored just for her!
At theBedazzle Bar, materials were provided for building sexy accessories like pasties and masks. Who says arts and crafts can’t be sexy?!

Let's be real, networking can be hard. Whatever it is you call work, it's always important to make connections and find sources of support, inspiration, and camaraderie in the community around you. But how?! It's so easy to "heart" someone's post to show support, or to stalk their account for inspo from behind a screen. But we challenge women to network in the flesh. Shake hands, exchange business cards, mingle! Ask questions and take notes with one hand, while eating a mini bundt cake with the other. That's how! There's nothing more empowering than complimenting another woman's accomplishments to her face.

Because although we are occasionally outspoken and often brave, sometimes we need the stiff hand of a righteous Bettie to pull us through our self-sabotaging shit. *Quietly raises hand* We are perfectly flawed and have created this community for our friends, acquaintances and companions. For love, because always for love. This is a place for women to discuss, and find support, re body positivity and female empowerment. Please feel free to share resources, get support, post something you’ve found inspirational, or just chat with someone who understands what you’re going through.
